This was another great Como event.  We had 14 shooters.  Two Rifleman requals and six more shooting a 190 or better! The Dawkins family brought six on Saturday and did well, considering they have never shot a rifle before.  David, Richard Will, Josh, Bo and Drew were knocking on the door.  Chad shot a requal and Dakota topped everyone with a 237!  Special thanks to Keith and John for helping out.  Perhaps some day they'll take a hat.  Many thanks to rustygun for instructing!

We had a really great Appleseed at the Desoto Rifle and Pistol Club last weekend! We had a nice mix of shooters ranging in skill level from people who had never really shot a rifle to some experienced Appleseeders chasing their Distinguished rocker. The weather co-operated with strong storms staying north of us. We only got a light rain one time. There was great improvement in shooting over the weekend with several shooters turning in repeat heartbreaker scores of 205 or 209. Just one good hit away from their patch! The group was enthusiastic and a couple of them are already signed up for another event. Here are a few pics.
