A beautiful day for a Ladies -only shoot: slight breeze and temps up to the 80's or 90's. 2 enthusiastic shooters with some experience altho' neither had shot any targets in at least 11 months (or more!). Plenty of instructors for this one day event and lots of one-on-one instruction available made this shoot move right along! Spirits were high and the fun factor was firmly in place...both ladies claimed they had a lot of fun and learned better techniques to practice in future. Excellent muzzle control, only one minor malfunction-jam-which was quickly dealt with, and some scope adjustments, made the event go smoothly. In keeping with the Sisters of Liberty agenda, Dangerous Dames were highlighted throughout the history lessons and even a famous female quote was inserted to inspire! Steady improvement throughout the day didn't yield a Rifleman's score but the participants were pleased with their results after a hot day. RedCoats at end of day-just as wind and the threat of rain appeared- yielded shingles to both and a cleared target to one! No Rifleman's score but Jasmine is definitely in the neighborhood and Melissa not far behind...don't forget to apply what you've learned, ladies,  and thank you both for making this event a success!! Excellent help by all instructors: many thanks to:  M1Bzerk,Captain,Wildman57, Ridgewalker, and Maxinuts for their assistance, without which this event wouldn't have been as enjoyable. Maxinuts promotion to IIT1 has been submitted...best model ever! Thanks to all of you...made this Shoot Boss' birthday great. Marathongirl.  P.S.Thanks for the danish, Captain...didn't even miss cake!

What a great way to finish off 9 Days of Appleseeding in Douglas! I'm so glad I was able to be a part of the event and my wife was excited to get behind her rifle for the first time since our son was born.
