It was good to be back at Tishomingo for Oklahoma's second 2022 Patriot's Day Appleseed!  We had a nice full line of 13 shooters, most of whom were gunsmithing students at Murray State, in DFBCoach's class.  They brought their muzzleloader rifle projects they've been working on as part of the festivities -- it's always eye-opening to see what a black powder volley looks like in person.  It was also great to have the Regional Coordinator, Captain, on the line.  I got to make two promotions -- Boomerang passed his Instructor PC, and DFBCoach passed his IIT4 PC.  Excellent job guys... y'all have been working hard on this stuff and it shows!

Looking forward to more fun soon!
"Of liberty I would say that, in the whole plenitude of its extent, it is unobstructed action according to our will. But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual."

What a fun event and the perfect way to commemorate Patriot's Day with a muzzle loader volley. The Murray State College range in Tishomingo always makes for a fun event. Thanks to DFBCoach and his student volunteers who made one of the best lunches in Appleseed! It was great to see so many shooters make progress throughout this accelerated one-day event.
