Awesomeness is the Perryville Higher Education Center! Thanks for hosting our Instructor Boot Camp. When space is limited, Appleseed is lucky to find incredible venues like PHEC which make it possible to pursue the mission. Surely everyone who attended this weekend's event would agree this was a special location!

Our event included Appleseeders from five states and most of the Missouri cadre. All came together to share our knowledge and sharpen our collective skills as instructors and teachers. We also had one Appleseeder who, unable to get someone to watch his 5 kids, brought them along. Yup five kids! And, far from being a distraction, they were incredibly well-behaved and entertained themselves through the entire first day. It was so nice to have them around; they really served as a reminder as to why our mission is so important.

This was the first event of the year for most of us and the first IBC in Missouri since 2014! Everyone showed awesome improvement over the course of the event. The opportunity to be around other committed Appleseeders is always enjoyable. The event also turned into a planning session for a big event at a new range. Stay tuned for details . . .

Thanks! First, a big thank you to Ramblin' Wreck for not only driving the furthest to attend but for also offering to act as the required "adult supervision" for the event (and also my personal thanks for giving me a chance to work on IBC skills). Thank you to Flintlock54 for doing all the work . . . dinner arrangements, pizza, logistics and most impressively, the incomparable PHEC! I would look forward to attending any event at that location. Finally, sincerest thank you to all my Brother Appleseeders who made time to come out and make this weekend a success.

Here's a group photo taken on Sunday.

It's hard to describe the uplift that comes from an intense weekend like we just spent. Very refreshing!
Huzzah! To all of you made this a success.
I was so pumped that tonight I managed to get into sitting position, bad knee and all. Getting up was a challenge..

What a great weekend!

It is awesome spending time with people who have a passion for Liberty!

Flintlock54, the venue was outstanding, I wish I could have toured the campus.

Captain and Ramblin Wreck, thank you both for sharing you knowledge and experience to help us all become better instructors.

A big thank you to all IBC Perryville 3-22 participants! I learned from each one of you. Captain and Rambling' Wreck, my heartfelt thanks to you both for an outstanding class; job well done! I got more than I came for. Flintlock54, you get an A+ for securing peerless facilities and provisions; and for flawless handling of associated logistics! Captain, thank you for generously supplying class and study materials, as well as water and lunch. My gratitude to and respect for you all.
