Hi everybody

My buddy and I are signed up for the rimfire KD event this summer and were wondering if there are any laws we need to be aware of. We are coming in from Montana, so we will be driving across the whole state.

Plan is to bring a 10/22 and an ar15 22lr. Any features on the AR that could get us in trouble?  I 'm pretty sure I saw that suppressors are a no go, correct?

Looking forward to the event.

thanks

Suppressors are legal in Washington and suppressors are the only NFA item that you can move across state lines without having to file an ATF "Interstate Transfer" form.
So feel free to bring those with you, along with your tax stamp (which is always with the suppressor, right?)

They worked now. So I'll get to reading.

Just a heads up, in the middle of the night yesterday WA passed 5078 which will take effect on Jul 1st, it may impact you depending on what you bring into this state for the August event.  Please consult with an expert at untangling the legal ramifications for out of state visitors.  14,239 folks commented during the comment period as con on 5078, 824 folks commented during the comment period as pro on 5078, and it still passed.  :( :wb: !@#) :slap: :sb:

This post is not intended to be a discussion on modern politics, it is to raise awareness.

I was one of the con votes.  I am disgusted by our elected officials deaf ears, in this state.  Elections have consequences.  Voting is important.
