Best Ohio location for a known distance event.
« on: October 14, 2021, 06:34:30 PM »
I am interested in doing a known distance event. I live in Northeast Ohio but I'm willing to travel. I'm wondering which location is best suited for the known distance.

Thanks in advance

We will have a Rimfire 100 yard event at Orwell Gun Club in February.

Dontflick,
If you are a instructor in training. sign up to work/volunteer at either the New Philly or the Marion events. Take your rifle and you just might get a change to get some trigger time in. Esp if there are any no shows.

New Philly is the nicest AS range I have been to and I can't say enough about how wonderful and friendly the members are.

There will probably be another KD at the Clinton-Irwin Rod and Gun Club in Harrisville, PA next year.  They are usually 1 day shoots but I will try to get a 2 day shoot this year.
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery
