600 Yard Match at the VETS Shooting Center 17 Sept 21
« on: September 21, 2021, 11:11:27 AM »
We had another 600 yard prone match at the Vets Shooting Center, the first since the first part of July. Attendance was pretty good, just three of us competitors shot with a sling, but still a good time was had by all.

I shot an AR15 match rifle with scope, my scores were 195/200, 191/200, 195/200. My loads were .223 77 grain TMK's, they seem to perform quite well and buck the wind pretty well too.

As always, we extend an invitation to all who might be in our AO to join us for a match or just to shoot KD steel. If you don't have a rifle for distance, we can lend you one!
