WACO TX JULY 17-18 2021 AAR

What a great weekend we had deep in the heart of Texas. 15 shooters came down for a weekend of Liberty, history and shooting a ridiculous amount of .22. a few new faces and many familiar prior apple seeders were in attendance and everyone had a great attitude a open mind and a desire to improve their marksmanship. Our first day started off a little slow but by lunch we had shooters dialed in and ready to start learning the positional shooting of the AQT. By 230 we rolled into our first AQT and by the end of our second AQT of day one we already had 4 qualified rifleman. Day 2 we endured some toasty temperatures as the shooters prepared for a onslaught of AQT's all morning long. During lunch they learned the value that one person can bring to a movement as we discussed dangerous old men and dangerous women. They also learned how to apply their new found marksmanship at distances out to 400 yards. After Lunch we had even more AQT's, Regular AQT's, Australian AQT's Rapid Fire AQT's Finally After 6  AQT's we gathered up for our final redcoat target and had a almost doubled our score of shooters who nailed Morgan's Shingle. But that wasn't the end of it. 5 shooters were still hungry for more and so after the range was broken down They went out eager to try a Rimfire known Distance AQT. it was a great weekend with 4 requalified Rifleman, One new Distinguished Rifleman, And 2 new(ish) IIT's joining( or Rejoining) our ranks. Id like to thank my instruction staff who did a phenomenal Job and made this such a exceptional shoot. Pics to follow
