Matters affecting attendance

Weather:          Rain at start of day but cleared. comfortable temps, mild to no wind.

Fees:             5 shooters paid onsite the $10 range fee which goes to reimburse AS for paying the range reservation/rental fee in advance.

Other:            I suspected rain at the beginning of the day may have contributed to the 3 no shows. I later heard a voice mail from a couple that they had a car breakdown and want to reschedule.

Other Notes

The Good:         All participants were previous Appleseed riflemen, two of which are orange hats. Very high level of seriousness and teachable attitudes, and it paid off with 3 pistoleers.

The Bad:          None really. The most I could point to was that we got ahead of schedule resulting in more PQT's than anticipated. One participant ran out of ammo near the end of the day. I don't like the use of "tap, rack, bang" as it lacks the important shoot/no shoot DECISION after clearing the malfunction, rather than a muscle memory trigger pull.

The Ugly:         None

Corona Notes:     Supplies such as hand sanitizer were provided and groups were put together that came together for distancing purposes.

"Tap,Rack,DECISION" doesn't sound as cool as "BANG" but sure makes a lot of sense. Many things can change in just a second or two at a range or in a defense situation. Please consider.    :-\
