SLCFSA hosted another Project Appleseed weekend on 05/01-05/02.
While it was just a little chilly saturday morning, it turned out to be beautiful in the afternoon, and sunday was even better. 11 students showed up to learn basic rifle marksmanship, and the actual events surrounding April 19th, 1775.
The weekend went very well, with several RIFLEMAN scores being shot, as well as multiple cleaned redcoat targets.
At the end of the weekend, the participants had a newfound knowledge of how to shoot a rifle effectively, as well as a better appreciation of the sacrifices of those who participated in the battles of Lexington and Concord on April 19th, 1775.

This is Lee. Lee wasn't sure if he would qualify when he first arrived. I watched his progression through the weekend, and with good instruction from the cadre, he qualified.
Lee, well done, we're all very proud!

The line, with your ever-lovin' fat old shoot boss shooting with the students. That's Wickedworx checking his line boss script, as well as his stopwatch, making sure I am not trying to pull a "fast one" and cheat the time!
