Has anyone seen this flag before?  I had not.  A friend posted it today in honor of Patriot's Day stating that it was the Revolutionary War Flag flown after the battles in Lexington and Concord.

Good afternoon, Dagny!

It wasn't terribly uncommon for folks to sew their own flags, and some variation is to be expected when that happens.  Some of the versions of 13 star flags had fewer than 5 examples, in total.

Perhaps this will help:

Extremely helpful and interesting.  Thank you very much!

PS:  I'm stealing one of your quotes.  I love this one too.  TANSTAAFL was one of my choices for a forum name that failed.  LOL  Nice to meet ya!

I'm flattered!  And I approve of your choice of forum handle, ma'am.  :cool2:  I have no doubt that Rand and Heinlein were fans of each other's  :)  I also firmly believe they'd have been supporters of Project Appleseed.

Happy to have helped.
