Another weekend full of bright futures.  That's what I get at a Young Marines event.  Eleven of Macomb County's finest youth decided to spend a weekend learning Marksmanship and our shared Heritage. And learn they did.  Two new Riflemen, Congrats Thompson and Smith.  Both of them got to be "baptized" in the waters of the North Bridge for their exact 210s.   Smith's score came late on Sunday as we stayed after the redcoat for students to continue to work on AQTs, as various parents arrived for pickup.   Being one of the first nice weekends of the year for us in Michigan we took history outside and even down our own version of Battle Road, well the road to the other ranges at the club, and had instructors reenact Parkers Revenge from the hillside.

All in all we had great improvement in skills over the weekend, with several Young Marines creeping up on that 200 milestone,  Baird, Chunn, Anglin, and several others were right there.   Our youngest Young Marine, Beamon-Sparks stuck it out all weekend and even hung in for the two extra AQTs after the Redcoat on Sunday, it will be great to see him in the years to come as the Macomb County Young Marines were already looking for dates for 2022, or even later in 2021.

Thanks for all the dedication by our instructor crew.  Pocket Watch, Mr. Zeke, TL, Stark, Grindstone, Superheat, MrSurplus, Super Trooper, and RangeRat67.
