We had a great weekend at Racine County Line Rifle Club!

Three students showed up to learn the skills and history that make up our heritage. Everyone did a great job of absorbing the deluge of instruction.

On Saturday, we stayed flexible and worked around some very cold morning rain. Sunday brought wind at a steady 20 miles per hour (and gusting higher occasionally), it felt like 25 degrees Fahrenheit out there... but our students persisted!!! The coast of Lake Michigan often provides elements to bring out the resilience in shooters.

Congratulations to Steven for scoring a respectable 225!

Our instructor cadre knocked it out of the park with solid instruction, coaching, and rapport.

On Sunday we had fun with some challenging steel targets and a friendly competition.

Photographs to follow! See y'all at the next one.  ;)

Happy Resurrection Day, everyone!

Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say, What should be the reward of such sacrifices? Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship, and plow, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom-go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen! -Samuel Adams, August 1, 1776
