CC45 - Colorado's First New IIT of 2021!
« on: February 21, 2021, 01:00:27 PM »
A text showed up on the phone a couple of weeks ago with an AQT showing an expert score. A few of us gathered for an impromptu “miniseed” at the Skyline Hunting and Fishing Club to see if this AQT was legit or just photoshopped :) . So yesterday, four of us loaded up the 4x4s and drove through the snow up the mountain to the range. After a quick safety review, CC45 and two other instructors took the line for an “official” AQT. After the smoke had cleared, CC45 demonstrated he knows well what he’s about and scored a 220, earning his Rifleman’s Patch and completing the last step so he could take his orange hat.

Congratulations to CC45 and welcome aboard. Enjoy that orange hat while you can, we’ve already ordered a replacement that’s a little redder in color. Huzzah!

P.S. He’s already signed up for the Colorado IBC next month!

Huzzah and Welcome!
In giving us dominion over the animal kingdom, God has signified His will that we subdue the beast within ourselves.
John Lancaster Spalding

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Benjamin Franklin, 1775

"A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent of others for essential, particularly military, supplies."  George Washington 1790

“[T]o preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them…”
– Richard Henry Lee, Declaration Signer
