600 yard KD at Vets Shooting Center
« on: October 22, 2020, 08:21:58 PM »
We continue to shoot our weekly 600 yard matches at the Vets Shooting Center. Usual matches are shot per the NRA rules covering Service Rifle, Match Rifle, and F Class.

As usual, we met this week, with today being the day designated. Weather was excellent with slight wind. I was the only competitor shooting in Match Rifle, utilizing a sling for support. My scores were pretty good, 194-4X, 193-2X and 194-8X.

Our F Class shooters, shot well, with excellent scores posted.

Shooting the 600 target, is excellent practice for shooting the 400 yard Appleseed KD target. If you can score well at 600, just think what you can do at 400?!

I'll keep on inviting all of those who would like to shoot at distance with some old hand Appleseed/High Power shooters. Just send us a message and we'll likely saddle up and meet you at the range! One of these days, someone will take us up on this!

Quinncannon, out.
