As the morning started with frost on the ground, the shooters bundled up while taking in History and Marksmanship instruction. The shooters scores improved all weekend, with Iain shooting a 221 and 212. Then he stepped up and took an Orange Hat. Wileycoyote did the bulk of the instruction on Saturday in completion of his Instructor Progress Check. He did an awesome job earning his Red Hat, then shot a 232 requalifying score on Sunday. Old Navy Doc also requalified. The most improved shooter was Morgan. She started with an 82 on her first AQT and was closing in on 200 by Sunday afternoon. Her enthusiasm is infectious and I can't wait to see her take a hat. It was great to meet you and your family again. Jay, it was great to finally get you on the line after all the cancellations this year. We always enjoy having locals show up: John, Keith and Lucas, we hope to see you again soon with some friends.

We all loved the beautiful Liberty Ranch site outside Cleveland TN.. The shooters attending represented a wide spectrum of experience and skills, but all had a wonderful teachable attitude and it showed in their improvement. I learned a tremendous amount from my fellow instructors and can't wait to return to Liberty Ranch.

Great group of shooters! Huge, visible improvements on the line. Y'all keep practicing and persisting, and you'll have your patch soon. A hearty congrats to wileycoyote for his Red Hat accomplishment! And exciting to have new Orange Hat Iain join his Blue Hat wife Nolly as a Project Appleseed volunteer. We sure appreciate y'all stepping up!
