Congratulations to Fidget on her Red Hat
« on: October 05, 2020, 11:58:30 AM »
Fidget worked really hard over the last few weeks polishing up her instructor knowledge and presentation.  I drove back and forth over her a few times with the bus at Watervliet MI and she not only survived, she got up and went for more.

Join me in congratulating Fidget on achieving her Red Hat!

Thank you!
I could not have done this without (in historical order of assistance):
IBCs!
HBC!
J-Dog & Oz’s coaching as a new IIT.
ITB’s push at IBC this year and beyond.
Superheat pushing me into mentoring an IIT0 & Pocket Watch for being my mentee for the event.
Pointers & watching Mrsurplus, Number6, and Rangerat67.
Miki, Madhatter, ThreadNLead “TL”, “Farm girl” / Rochelle showing me how lady instructors get it done!
Rifleman who thanked me for helping him get his score "by yelling at him".
SteelThunder for feedback on my presentations that made sense and I could quickly apply.
Superheat, ITB & SteelThunder for the encouragement.
Wrangler for being cool about me taking your POIs. (It was great having you there!)

congrats ! :)
During the seventy years which elapsed between the overthrow of the Stuart dynasty and the victory of Wolfe on the Heights of Abraham, the relations between the American colonies and the British government were, on the whole, peaceful; and the history of the colonies, except for the great and romantic struggle with New France, would have been almost destitute of striking incidents. In view of the perpetual menace from France, it was clearly unwise for the British government to irritate the colonies, or do anything to weaken their loyalty; and they were accordingly left very much to themselves. Still, they were not likely to be treated with any great liberality,—for such was not then, as it is hardly even yet, the way of governments...

Congratulations Amy.
The hardest distance to shoot is the six inches between your ears.  It gets easier when you get out of your own way.  Self doubt and negative self talk have no place on the firing line.
Once a shot is gone... good or bad, it is gone.   Focus on the next one. Make forty good first shots.

Fidget, congratulations.  I knew your hard work, enthusiasm, and desire to learn (EVERYTHING) would pay off.  Wish I'd been there to see it, and I look forward to working with you down the road.

You know this keeps getting better, right?  I'm not sure this is even the end of the beginning--there is still so much to learn and do.

Huzzah!  Thank you for your time and dedication!
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery

Congratulations and THANKS for stepping up!

The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed -- where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once.

Congrats Figet!

It was a pleasure meeting you and working with you this past weekend at Jonesboro.

Hope to work with you again in the near future
