Fidget worked really hard over the last few weeks polishing up her instructor knowledge and presentation.  I drove back and forth over her a few times with the bus at Watervliet MI and she not only survived, she got up and went for more.

The hardest distance to shoot is the six inches between your ears.  It gets easier when you get out of your own way.  Self doubt and negative self talk have no place on the firing line. 
Once a shot is gone... good or bad, it is gone.   Focus on the next one. Make forty good first shots.

Fidget, congratulations.  I knew your hard work, enthusiasm, and desire to learn (EVERYTHING) would pay off.  Wish I'd been there to see it, and I look forward to working with you down the road. 

You know this keeps getting better, right?  I'm not sure this is even the end of the beginning--there is still so much to learn and do.

Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery
