Another great weekend outside with a few Rifleman and many trying hard shooters at the New Haven Sportsman's Club in Guilford. Our first event of the year was scheduled there for March but was cancelled along with most everything else in the lower 48.

Aided by good weather, Parallax and students with a teachable much improvement was made throughout both days. The attendees took the instruction in and continued to pull things together after several drills and AQT's. Significant progress was made and here is the short version.

Mark from NY, a repeat Rifleman, hit it hard both days with several scores from the mid 220's to a high of 242. Dave pushed it with a high score of 205, Jason with a 199 and Mike with a 197. Others showed progress but had various stages which held them back. Father and son, Mark and Mark did it running CF rifles both days.

Yes, there were 3 Marks there.  $$-0 So to simplify everyone was Mark for the weekend.

As is to be expected no one's rifle acts up or breaks during practice, only at an AS! Even robust ones like an SKS went down for the count. However back up rifles and or field repairs got all back into the program.

Thanks to NHSC for the use of their range facility, they have been a long time friend of Appleseed and we look forward to working with them next year. Thanks to Jason (BOTG) for putting it together.

The shooters were a great bunch to work with, took the instruction in and did most of the POI's as were presented, a first! Also their safe handling was excellent, altogether a good group to work with.

Parallax did his usual best at all things teaching and lightened the load on this SB, Thanks Ron. He should have some pics soon.

A Rifleman persists.
