What a beautiful weekend to have an Appleseed!  We had a small but highly motivated group of shooters.  Shooting experienced ranged from moderate to almost none.  With a teachable attitude they all progressed quickly.  One Rifleman was made and even backed it up with another Rifleman score.  The young lady with almost no shooting experience scored 197 on one of her first AQTs and was shooting consistent 4 moa groups all weekend.  Talk about "Shooting like a girl".  She was setting the bar high for everyone.

The History was the fun part of the weekend.  This group was fully engaged and asking great questions!

While there were equipment and ammo challenges, nothing was going to stop this group.  They improvised, adapted and overcame all challenges!

Our Nebraska instructors want to thank our visiting Instructor, Sleepy who made the long journey from Wyoming across to the far reaches of Eastern Nebraska. Special thanks to a friend of Project Appleseed Nebraska who made the beautiful wood display.  And of course, much thanks to our host range Izaak Walton League Nebraska www.lincolnikes.com for their continued support of Project Appleseed.

Only wish I could have been there both days. From what I saw on Saturday, shooters and cadre both rocked!
