600 yards at the Vets Shooting Center 20 May 2020
« on: May 21, 2020, 08:12:22 PM »
After a pause in the action at the Vets Shooting Center, we started off again for some excellent 600 yard prone shooting on Wednesday, 20 May 2020. Vets now has two E target sets, which greatly sped things up, not only for our competitions, but it should work well for a future KD Appleseed.

Shooting went well, yours truly was armed with one of my LRB M14's, scores were 193, 191 and 194. All of the others on this day were shooting F Class precision rifles with a bipod and rear bag....to give you an idea of difficulty for them, the 10 ring is six inches, the X ring is three inches. One of the F Class shooters, is a past Regional Champion, sling or no sling, he can shoot!

We plan on shooting weekly, weather permitting, we're not in the Army anymore, we don't have to shoot in the rain now! :)

As usual, we invite all liberty minded folks who want to shoot their rifles with some old Riflemen, give us a shout, we'll likely saddle up and meet you at the range!

Quinncannon, out.
