It was another great weekend at the Nappanee Conservation Club. We had 8 shooters show up to help us celebrate and honor the men and women and the sacrifices they made over 245 years ago. The weather was a little cold on Saturday morning was a little cold but it warmed up and turned into a beautiful day. Sunday was a little more challenging with rain on and off and cold winds. But our shooters persevered and pushed through. We had 2 shooters requal as riflemen and we had 1 new rifleman. Well done on the requals Shawn and Lee, and congratulations on getting your first rifleman score David. Emily, Noah, Ashton, Walker and Dean showed great improvement over the weekend. I am sure with practice and perseverance you all will get those rifleman scores. I would like to thank all my instructors for their time and dedication this weekend. I would also like to thank the Nappanee Conservation Club for hosting the event. I know some pics were taken so

This weekend was my first experience with Appleseed. My son and I came out and had an excellent experience. The instructors were very knowledgeable and patient. The folks from the Nappanee Conservation Club were great hosts. It was nice to be able to focus on learning the curriculum and not having to worry about whether or not Noah was keeping up. Anytime he was having an issue, Pinky or one of the other instructors would jump in to help him. He was already talking about coming to another Appleseed event by the end of day one. This will definitely not be our last Appleseed. Thanks again to everyone involved!
