Palmerton October 5th & 6th 2019
11 Patriots joined together this weekend for a dose of Rev War History and good old' American Rifle Marksmanship. Palmerton PA  gathers together great folks with excellent attitudes.

Saturday the weather was sunny and cool. On Sunday the skies were gray and either rain or drizzle continued throughout the entire day, but this did not slow down this determined group of shooters.

All the participants were focused and persistent to work hard towards improving their skills, this was evident by the fact they completed 9 timed AQT's in 2 days.

Congratulations to the following who scored Rifleman; Eugene #1 with a 220, Marvin with a 223, Mark with a 242, John with a 244 and Eugene #2 with a 230. Also Rich, Eugene, John, Mark, and Charles cleared their Red Coat targets. Dan, Timothy, Charles, Cliare, and Johnny W kept us busy and improved throuout the weekend with .

Claire was our most improved shooter for the weekend; she persevered all Saturday with equipment problems and had to switch out to a loaner rifle. The hard work showed as it all came together on Sunday- after and getting the sling and stock adjusted she nearly cleared the Red Coat target, missing only one shot by a fraction of an inch. Hope to see you again at another event.

The remaining shooters scores continued to improved, just shy of the Rifleman standard, many will cross that 210 threshold very quickly and we look forward to your return.

All the students did an outstanding job and you all should be proud. Everyone showed marked improvement that was a pleasure to witness.

I would also like to thank Palmerton Rod and Gun Club for hosting our event, and the use of their beautiful facility.

Thank you
Red Coat Rival, SBIT3
