What a beautiful weekend to have an Appleseed. The weather was warm and sunny on Sat. but we got a little wet on  Sunday. All of our shooters for the weekend remarkable, soaking up the instruction and the history like they were sponges. By the end of the weekend we had 2 new riflemen and 2 re quals. With other shooters knocking on the door with scores in the 190's to just under 210. If you didn't make your rifleman score this weekend just keep practicing what you learned this weekend and you will get there. Just remember a rifleman in persistent. I would also like to thank all my instructors this weekend, without you guys the shoot would not have ran that smooth. I would also like to thank the Nappanee Conservation Club for hosting the event, as always it is a wonderful range to hold a shoot at.

Thanks to the great instructors, and partly-thanks-to and partly-despite the weather, it was a fun shoot. While I'm sorry I had to leave early to drive back to Wisconsin, I'm glad to hear there was another new Rifleman anointed afterward--kudos, whoever that was!
I was happy to requalify for Rifleman in my pursuit of Distinguished, but mostly I was very proud of my sister Trina for earning her first Rifleman patch! I was not surprised, and knew it would only be a short matter of time before she got it. (But if she beats me to Distinguished, I may have to rewrite my will.)
Anyone else got pics?
