Thunderstorms would not dissuade twelve enthusiastic rifleman to be on the hallowed grounds of the Sandusky county sportsman's club.
The hearty veterans of the Gibsonburg Contingence, myself, Cadence and Third Degree arrived to find twelve eager shooters, many returning AS'ers, including CHipNDale, who brought out the whole family = kudos to you and all our family attendee's. There were three youth shooters on the like this weekend, all demonstrating fine safety and rifle handling.
THe first Redcoat of the day, and others showed the level of familiary these shooters brought with them, and their eagerness.

Sadly, Sunday was cut short as an approahcing thunderstorm brought the shoot to an early close, however. the intrepid shooters insisted on one more AQT before hitting the road. With enthusiasim like this, I know we will see them all again, and be handing out some patches

A great group of shooters, of which over half were returning Appleseeders. A very good group with safe rifle handling skills and awesome attitudes.

The only drawback of the weekend was the threat of severe weather Sunday afternoon which prevented us from going to the 500 yd range because the group wanted to shoot another AQT before the rain started. Can we say dedication?

The shooters were treated to the opportunity to shoot a suppressed MP-5 courtesy of Steve Thompson of ADCO firearms in Sylvania, Ohio and former Appleseeder. Thanks Steve!  O0  Hopefully this made up for not getting to shoot full distance.

Thanks to shoot boss Blindman and Third Degree for a fun safe shoot.

Finally, some pictures to prove it happened.
"A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the
whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they
lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader."
