Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots

Iowa weather continues to be quite damp these days.  Saturday at the Big Springs Shooting Complex near Searsboro, IA started wet, but by afternoon, the sun was out and we were getting sunburned.  The sun, now feeling sorry for the sun burn, took it easy on us on Sunday and stayed all day behind solid cloud cover and even cooled us with a little rain.  Very thoughtful.   :)

Despite the idiosyncratic weather patterns, we had a great event!  This is our first time back to Big Springs Shooting Complex in a few years and we plan to keep coming back as often as we can.  It is an extremely fine facility and appreciate the partnership!

Our Shooters had great attitudes throughout.  Very attentive, very persevering. Congrats to Jeff for qualifying Rifleman on his first Appleseed, doing it on the first day.  Huzzah!  Many shooters demonstrated significant improvement by the end of the event.  Hope to see you all at another Appleseed soon!

This Appleseed also had a few well-deserved instructor promotions.  Congrats to Bob for passing his PC for IIT2!  And congratulations to Joe and Emily for promotions to Red Hat!!!  We are extremely proud of you all for your hard work, determination and commitment to this program!  Outstanding!  Attached are some pictures from the event.
