Welcome to the After Actions Reports Board!

Purpose:  This board was created as a place for you to share your experiences at an Appleseed event. We encourage you to share your excitement and your passion for the program! Some of the best After Action Reports include the stories of persistence as well as those of the good times people have had at one of our events.  If you've got some photos to share, post 'em up!  Feel free to share links to specific AARs with friends and family.

With that said, please keep in mind this is a family-friendly and non-partisan program committed to promoting civic virtue through knowledge of our shared history, heritage, and tradition of rifle marksmanship.  So for this reason we need to lay down a few ground rules.

Specific Topics to Avoid: We believe that America's future is bright, so expressing support for subversive or violent ideals is unwelcome here.  Our forums are also not the place for engaging in partisan debate, discussing public political figures, or promoting a political or ideological agendas.  Our goal is to promote civic participation across American society.  We believe that Americans of all political and ideological persuasions should become fully engaged in our civic processes.  Hopeful times lie ahead, and the future will be what we make - YOU make - of it.

Discussion of topics that do not relate to Appleseed are also discouraged.  We have a mission: to save America through teaching history, heritage, and marksmanship.  Our goal is too important to be delayed while we wade through conspiracies, discuss survivalist theories, or compare knives, handguns, or fully automatic firearms or similar topics.  These are interesting and important topics, but they are also fully covered on other sites.

Specific Behaviors to Avoid:  Use of profanity or comments that ridicule, deride, embarrass or harass others are not appropriate.  We welcome everyone, regardless of race, gender, religion, sexuality, national origin, age or ideological affiliation.  We want every American to feel like they have a place in Project Appleseed because they have a stake in preserving and sharing our history and heritage.  If you see something that violates this, please contact a moderator.

Starting a Thread: You must be an Instructor-in-Training or higher in order to start threads in AAR.  Please see this post for more information about the goals of the Project Appleseed Forums and how to become more active in Project Appleseed.

Topic starters:  Please make sure the title of your post is formatted to begin with City, State AAR - Date. For example, Ramseur, NC AAR - Nov. 14-15, 2019.  By putting the AAR after the location will help with searches down the road.  You may add something like "KD", "RKD", "Pistol Clinic", etc.

Any member of the forum, regardless of level, can reply to a topic that has already been started.

Thank you!  We look forward to your stories, photos, and comments!
