We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Pete!

Let's go to the Birchwood Recreation & Shooting Park to shoot rifles and/or pistols instead of watching millionaires in spandex chase a leather egg!

Bring your own gear and some extra for those who don't have anything.

This is not an official Appleseed or Birchwood event. We will use whichever range is empty when we get there. (Past experience shows that we will have several options.)

Today is the day! Starts at 2pm.

Here are a few notes:
-Ice cleats are mandatory at the range according to the latest info I have
-If you are not a member at Birchwood you will need to pay $25 for a 2-Day Limited Membership and range fee
-If you do not have your own firearms, bring ammo! (.22LR, 9mm, .40S&W, .45 ACP, .44 Mag, .223/5.56, .308/7.62NATO, .303 British, & 7.62x54R is what I am bringing.)
-Don't let the snow stop you! Dress for the weather and you'll be alright. The range has roofs and heaters.

"It is an enormous simplification to speak of the American mind. Every American has his own mind." -Ludwig von Mises (Theory and History)
"I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do." -Robert A. Heinlein (The Moon is a Harsh Mistress)
"Those who are in love with practice without knowledge are like the sailor who gets into a ship without rudder or compass and who never can be certain [where] he is going. Practice must always be founded on sound theory." -Leonardo da Vinci (#19 Of the Mistakes made By Those Who Practice Without Knowledge)
