Join us for this comprehensive, week-long program that builds on the skills acquired at previous weekend Appleseeds and Known-Distance Appleseeds. The Rifleman's Boot Camp (RBC) puts you on the fast track to becoming a Rifleman - or an Appleseed instructor. The training consists of classroom instruction, range-safety instruction, and marksmanship from varied distances. You'll learn the basics of shooting at 25 yards, and then you'll test those same principles by shooting at ranges of 100, 200, 300 and 400 yards, so bring your centerfire rifle in addition to your .22. All of this will take place at the beautiful Appleseed home range in Ramseur, North Carolina.

During this intense week, you'll have the chance to get to know your dedicated volunteer instructors and your fellow students really well on the way to forging lifelong bonds and friendships. In the words of one of our RBC graduates, "If you don't have one of the best times of your life at this boot camp, something is seriously wrong with you."

My not-so-subtle endorsement:

IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN TO THE RAMSEUR FACILITY, YOU ARE MISSING OUT
I attended a two day event recently.

On the strength of that experience, I will be attending the Rifleman's Boot Camp March 10-15.  You'll see first hand that applying what you learn at 25M absolutely applies at 300 and beyond.

The crown jewel of this facility is the 500 yard KD range.  One line, with the ability to engage targets 100-500 yards, without having to tote your gear back and forth.  For those who have been to a KD event, you know how awesome this is.  For those who haven't, you should come and find out.

The KD range now has Appleseed steel targets.  The instant feedback of ringing steel, coupled with the setup mentioned above, makes coming to the RWVA range an absolute must for not only the beginning student but also the seasoned Rifleman.

This venue is worth the 3.5 hour drive from Richmond & C'Ville, 4 hour drive from Hampton Roads.  It's worth taking a week of leave.  It's worth the price of admission.

My $0.01 (Appleseeder discount applied).

Truly hope to see you there.
"5 minutes for this stage - that's like a week in people years!"

"Responsibility is a unique concept... You may share it with others, but your portion is not diminished. You may delegate it, but it is still with you... If responsibility is rightfully yours, no evasion, or ignorance or passing the blame can shift the burden to someone else. Unless you can point your finger at the man who is responsible when something goes wrong, then you have never had anyone really responsible."
― Hyman G. Rickover

"Scoring is a function of great execution, and winning Is the result, but thinking about winning can pull your focus off of proper execution in a competition. Thinking about process is the answer."- Lanny Bassham

Hey Jesse,

Thanks for the great promo. It was terrific having you and Mrs. Monkey at the KD 201, and I'm looking forward to seeing you at the RBC.

I just got off the phone with Michael, and we're planning a bunch of fun things for the RBC. We want this one to be truly memorable.

Best regards,
Bill
