What a good day for KD at the VETS Shooting Center! Rifle,  my LRB M14SA with SWFA Super Sniper. Ammo, ZQ1 FMJ's, 100 rounds. All targets from 300 to 500 yards, prone firing position, slinged up.

My main goal was to confirm zero's and to check accuracy of this ZQ1 ammunition. I have heard some state that it is inaccurate and will foul the rifle quickly.

I can say that the ammunition is accurate enough, after confirming zero's, I went on to hammering steel, nothing like a .30 caliber battle rifle! Clean up wasn't bad either, didn't seem to be any dirtier than other surplus ammo I have shot over the years!

After rifle practice, I unlimbered an Remington 870 12 gauge Police Magnum, very effective close range fire power!

To my fellow veteran's, hand salute rendered this Veteran's Day, 11 November 2018. Formally known as Armistice Day, which this year is the 100th Anniversary of the end of WWI.
