It is always fun to participate in a sold out shoot and this one was definitely not an exception!  With the wind-proof target line designed by Darkfoot and Tundra Badger, not even the massive wind gusts could put a damper on the enthusiasm of this group.

It was a fantastic shoot for marksmanship improvement.  Big John took the lead on the instruction and both days saw steady decreases in group sizes by all shooters.  This led to a continuous string of rifleman qualifications.  Congratulations to James, Grace, WilderMars, Savannah, Carter, Alexandra, and Brian for their rifleman patches.  And the last four form an entire household of riflemen! Also congratulations to Collin for earning his youth patch for attentiveness throughout!

Karen, Doug, Megan, Ian, Charles, and Craig were also on the verge of breaking through.  So we hope to see you at the next shoot!

Finally, we are proud to announce that WilderMars not only earned her patch but also will be joining our corps as a Blue Hat!

Thanks Sur+rifle, Big John, Darkfoot and Tundra Badger for running a safe shoot.  It was a tight line and the wind made it a little more difficult for all.  Great to see the improvements and numerous rifleman qualifications from the weekend.
