This one day shoot with a small group of shooters was a great opportunity to introduce a few shooters to their first rifle marksmanship training. The sun was hot hot hot and unlike the usual Byers hurricane winds we were barely brushed with a breeze during the day. There were six shooters, a few with previous Appleseed experience, and a few dedicated new shooters. The day moved quickly as we made sure to cover everything in the one day we had on the range. TheDud led the shoot with safety and history and we quickly moved into the heart of the marksmanship instruction and first few strikes of the match. Thanks to our IITs for their extra support in the high temps and willingness to help shooters with equipment issues, slings, and the fundamentals.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

- Col. Cooper, The Art of the Rifle

AFTERMATH

"We intend to produce men who are able to light a fire for Liberty in men's minds, and make them the finest rifle marksmanship Instructors on the planet." - Son of Martha

"Tyrants rise and fall, but tyranny lasts forever." -Me
