Thanks to our outstanding students, this was a fantastic event. Also, for the first time ever temps on the range stayed below 90 and it didn't pour. We began with 17 students on Saturday morning, and everyone really did his best. The pace of learning was rapid. Groups shrank throughout the day on Saturday, and we had our first Rifleman, Jeff with a 224, on the first AQT that afternoon. Pat qualified on Sunday afternoon with a 212, and Jeff repeated with a 228.

Our three young shooters learned to operate their rifles like experts, and Isaac is within spitting distance of qualifying with a 191 on his best target. Their perseverance in shooting through two long, hot days in the sun is a good indicator that the future will be in good hands.

Sam did an excellent job on the Third Strike, and her promotion at this event is well-earned.

Just received notice of DeadAnt's promotion to IIT3. This is icing on the cake for a great event.
