We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

This was our second event at the Parma Rod and Club this year.   The Parma range has been a great host for the Appleseed events in the Western Treasure Valley.

We had a very skilled group of participants at this event.   I really thought that everyone was going to post a rifleman score, but Justin's scope broke early Sunday afternoon and that stopped his forward momentum.

Congratulation to our two new rifleman, Marshall and Randy.  I suspected that you both would shoot your rifleman scores from watching your progress through the first set of sighter squares.

It was great watching all of the shot groups continuing to get tighter and tighter throughout the weekend.  The students did a great job adopting the Appleseed marksmanship techniques and put them to good use.  Also, everyone seemed to enjoy the history stories told throughout the weekend.   It was a pleasure being able to instruct this group of students.

To continue to increase your rifleman skills, remember to incorporate some dry fire practice at home.   You can practice the steady hold factors, trigger control and NPOA shifts on the comfort of your living room carpet.   With a little more practice, it will be time to come to another event and earn your Distinguished marksman patch!

The next KD event is in Coeur D'Arlene on July 7/8th.   Bring out your centerfire rifles and come shoot to 400 yards!
