What an awesome 1st Appleseed for Dead Zero Shooting Park in Spencer, TN! We've been talking to the folks at Dead Zero for several months, and it all came to fruition. When it is complete this summer, Dead Zero will have a full 1000 yard rifle range with electronic targets.  :snipersmi

We had enough shooters, that one pistol range wasn't big enough, so we divided up into two lines. Thankfully we had a strong instructor crew, who handled it like pros! Cokeguy, Tellico, and Hardbean handled one line, while Overmountain Man, Dracomeister, and myself handled the other. Johnny Reb came in after work to assist in the afternoon. Blue Hats, Jester03 and ElizabethZane were on hand to help out, and did a great job. We began the day with the 1st Strike in the classroom, then moved over to the range for the rest of the day.

The shooters were great! They were very attentive to the instruction, and did very well at applying what they learned. Many of the shooters already had some shooting experience, but they didn't let that get in the way of learning new things.  O0 By noon, we were seeing some really good groups, and we ended the day with 2 new Riflemen and a re-qualification by Leadslinger66. Huzzah!

Here are a few pictures. If anyone else has any they'd like to share, please upload them.

What a great group of shooters and great venue. I hope to see a lot of the shooters back at the next event.

It was a good day! I had a blast (no pun intended). And an excellent job by the instructors running the event on two separate ranges.
