After a bit of a scheduling hiccup, this past weekend GFSSC hosted a Known Distance Appleseed at their 600yd silhouette range. I want to thank the GFSSC for being a stalwart supporter of the program, and for giving us exclusive use of the silhouette range.

Ken and Scott arrived early Saturday morning, and much like the last few KD shoots we've held at this range, the mud proved challenging! We kicked off Saturday morning with a version of the shingle for Morgan's riflemen. Shooters got one shot, standing, at an 8" plate hung at 200 yards. Ken drilled it, cold bore, standing. Bravo Ken!

Despite the cold rain, Ken and Scott toughed it out, gathered DOPE on their rifles, and learned to read and compensate for the wind. Great Falls treated us to steady 5-8MPH winds  at 7 o clock all weekend, which proved perfect for learning to adjust for wind. It was truly a pleasure working with both of these fine gentlemen, and I hope to see them again in the future.
