Thanks for a great weekend.  And for great instruction.  I run a ranch where coyotes are a problem.  While some people hunt them for sport, it is part of my job, but I confess I do enjoy the challenge.  Today I shot three of them.

1.)The first one came directly at me at a dead run.  I did not fuss the shot.  I just squeezed the trigger and followed through.

2.)The next one was about 250 yards away.  I focused on the crosshairs and exhaled.

3.) The next one I happened so fast I don't even remember the scenario.  But the training stuck.

So thank you.

Ken

After our second Appleseed, BlueFeather has a very similar story on a successful Javelina hunt near the Mexican border.

Yes it does! We had a 'graduate' from AS do something similar, riding in the guides vehicle when a boar was seen. They dismounted, boar ran and he dropped it on the fly, one round.

The guide's response, " Where did you learn to shoot like that!!?"

AS grad, "went to an Appleseed!"

Good post, thanks for sharing.
