Seven shooters, including two walk-ons, gathered at the fabulous ROCKCASTLE Shooting Center for history and marksmanship instruction. This included a father-daughter team and a man and his brother-in-law.  O0  Saturday was a hot and humid day but the shooting showed marked improvement. At the end of the day we had one new Rifleman on his first AQT.  O0

Sunday was cloudy and cooler while scores improved and more Riflemen were made. Cell phones warned us that a thunderstorm was imminent and at the end of lunch, it struck. The nearness of lightening sent us to the safest place, our cars, until the threat was past. Then the shooting began again. The final result was one repeat Rifleman and 3 new ones. That made it a great day and a great shoot. And the shooters are planning to return for more of the same.   O0   :~
