CRPC, Charlotte, NC June 3-4th

We had a wonderful weekend at the Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club just outside of Charlotte in Waxhaw, NC.  It was a warm morning that turned out to be very hot and humid and under the tin roof we cooked like a turkey in a boiler pan!  But despite the heat all students were excited and no complaining was heard.  We had 9 students Saturday morning.  They all learned quickly and listened very well.  We had shooters that had never shot a gun before all the way to seasoned shooters for this event.  I was very impressed with the groups that the new shooter was getting and she was very excited.  Sunday was much of the same with 7 shooters returning.  Sunday was hot but a brief downpour helped out a bit... but not for the cardboard targets.  Hahaha.

We have a new Red Hat in North Carolina!  Yankee Doodle exchanged his Orange Hat for a shiny new Red Hat this weekend.  Job well done Yankee Doodle!!!

We also had 3 new riflemen this weekend with others very close.  We also had 2 instructors re-qualify as well.  Pain Killer and Pelon.

and Megan shot a 227!!!

Congrats to all the new Riflemen and Riflewoman!!  It was a great weekend with a great bunch of shooters!
