They typically get posted here in the AAR, but it usually takes a couple days for folks to get them posted. I got a few general pics that I'll try to get posted this evening or tomorrow.

Btw, thanks again to all the great Appleseed volunteers who make these wonderful events possible. In particular, Crazyduckhunter, who's home range this is. He sure did put in an aweful lot of work to make this weekend go down so well. I know you can't do anything about the rain today, but you sure did take care of everything else. I believe the proper response is HUZZAH  :F

Very impressive first shoot at Orwell Gun Club. Most of the work to make this event so great was the work of Ron, and Joe, also. Thank you both and thank you Orwell Gun Club for allowing us to use the range and clubhouse.
This was a very good group of shooters, which allowed us to shoot 2 AQTs on Saturday. Many more AQTs on Sunday before lunch break.....then rain came, then the thunder. 4 new Rifleman were forged this weekend! Maybe the most that I have witnessed. Thank you to all the shooters that came. I hope you all had a great time and will return again....with more friends and family!
Ron, Joe, and Tom....thanks for all the great food! I should be losing weight at a shoot, but nope, ain't happening with you guys cooking.

A great big thank you to all for coming out to the first Appleseed event at the Orwell Gun Club. The turnout was great. The participants were wonderful. The weather pretty much was great. I have heard from some of the members of the club that stopped by over the weekend to check out what this Appleseed thing was all about. They were very impressed! I just wish that the trap shooters would have been there on Sunday like they are normally. We could have gotten more exposure that way to more members of the club.

As far as to all the heartfelt thank you's to me for putting this together. You are all welcome. BUT. I did not do this in a vacuum. This event was the result of a lot of work by a combination of a lot of people. I have a big thank you to everyone that helped out. To the setup (which started many months ago) and to the take down this was a combined effort as all Appleseed events are. This just goes to show that there are many men and women that know well what they are about!

See you all in September for another AS here in Orwell.
