Saratoga  Wyoming 22/23 April 2017

Sunny Wyoming in April!  We started out sort of cool on Saturday morning - the day warmed up and we were able to shed jackets.  We only had four students, aged 10 to 70, less than we had hoped for after last year's sixteen,  but they were great students.
There was a mix of Rugers & Marlins.
No-one made Rifleman, but Steve shot a 192 and Josh and Andrew were in the 160's, and Dawson was steadily improving.  Andrew was doing quite well with a 10/22 with open sights, and even better with tech sights.
Persist and dryfire, gentlemen, and you will get there.
Thanks to:
Saratoga Gun Club for allowing us to takeover the range for the weekend;
Platte Valley Well for providing the porta potties.
Instructors rocket from Powell, Pewpewpew from Sheridan and Sleepy from Laramie. Great job, guys & thanks for traveling so far;
Andy for giving a flintlock demo and allowing us to shoot it;  Very good history presentations.
Especial thanks to our four students who were alert and safe.  Persist in improving your marksmanship and you will earn your Rifleman patches!

Pew, please post your photos!!!

It was a gorgeous weekend! It got up to mid sixties both days, only a mild Wyoming wind. Considering the time of year, it was better than we could have expected.
