I have purchased an Endoscopic bore scope on EBAY. Price was like $15.

If you have ever wondered about the condition of your rifling, how well you clean, any rust hiding in there this will let you know. Plugs into my Android or PC.

Money well spent.

Was that a new product anybody can buy at that price, or used that someone let go of, and you were the fortunate purchaser?

I bought one along the way for about the same price and it was money well spent for sure. Having said that the Lyman borescope blows it away though it costs quite a bit more it's not insanely expensive.
"The great body of our citizens shoot less as times goes on. We should encourage rifle practice among schoolboys, and indeed among all classes, as well as in the military services by every means in our power. Thus, and not otherwise, may we be able to assist in preserving peace in the world... The first step in the direction of preparation to avert war if possible, and to be fit for war if it should come is to teach men to shoot." -Theodore Roosevelt
