What a beautiful weekend! We  had six awesome shooters on the line. It is always great to see fathers and sons out sharing time together learning about Liberty and marksmanship! Our two young shooters, Roger and Daxton, were very attentive to the history and very proud to each receive the Luther Blanchard patch at the end of the day on Saturday.  Roger even wanted to put it on his cap right then and there! It was still pretty warm for September but still a great day on the line.

Sunday was a bit cooler. We were all grateful. We were joined Sunday afternoon by Susan, one of our Applecore, who wanted a little time on the line before the upcoming Ladyseed in Talladega.  By the end of day Sunday,Travis, Daxton's dad, became our newest rifleman with a score of 217 and then a score of 211! HUZZAH!  Kris and Carley were not far behind. A rifleman persists! A big thanks to all our shooters, Daxton, Travis, Carley, Kris, Matthieu, Roger and Susan, for coming out and sharing the weekend with us. Also, a big thanks to Madison County Shooting and Sports Association for hosting this event!
