I've been asked by more than one person about how to make the mags fall out of a Marlin 795. Here's a .pdf of some notes I threw together.
Can't we all just agree to disagree in a civil fashion while the planet's last, fading hope of liberty and prosperity gets snuffed out?

No. We can't.

Thanks for posting this.

I've had good success in getting all but one of my magazines to drop free from my 795 by doing some light stoning/polishing of all the internal surfaces in the magazine well.  This is most easily accomplished when the rifle is disassembled for cleaning - disassemble the action by removing the e-clips, remove one sideplate and the magazine well comes out easily.  Also, giving the magazine well a thorough cleaning every time you clean the action helps.  This should get most of the magazines to drop out smoothly when you press the magazine release.

I think I may need to give the one magazine that still sticks the "mag resizing fixture" treatment!

The spring catch for the magazine is a challenge.  I managed to take a bit too much metal out of the mag well and had to widen the spring gap to compensate.  it does mean that you can grasp the bottom of the mag and push forward and it rocks right out.  If the spring gets out of adjustment, it does not stay fully seated in the mag well. Two rounds then "click".  Reinforces slamming the mag in.

That brings up a good point. While removing some metal or polishing it is OK, you cant put it back if you remove too much! Go slowly and check those mags after every "adjustment"

Ditto on D.O.M.'s point.  When I said "some light stoning/polishing" I meant LIGHT!  I should have stressed that the first time.
