I just found out about this...   http://www.nationalgeographic.com/voteyourpark/

Minute Man National Park has the opportunity to receive funding for preservation through a nation wide program celebrating the 100th anniversary of the National Park System.  This vote is going on now through July 5th.

Hargrove Barn and Parker's Revenge Battlefield

Minute Man National Historical Park

Minute Man National Historical Park is the site of the opening battle of the American Revolution on April 19, 1775. The historic landscape immerses visitors in the 18th-century site and brings the battle to life. A $250,000 grant will rehabilitate the historic Parker's Revenge Battlefield to reveal original battlefield features and repurpose the 19th-century Hargrove Barn for use as an education center

This is OUR Park and it is currently in 17th place (was in 18th yesterday, but we bumped that up!).   I think Appleseeder's can help make this park be in the top 5.  The top 5 receive the funding.

Edited to add this suggestion from others....   So,  From now through July 5, please vote ONLY for Minute Man National Park - if we all take a minute to do this, I am certain we can nudge MMNP into the top 5!   (You are given 5 votes per day; however, if you use only 1 vote and put it toward MMNP, this will push it ahead faster.)

Vote now.

If you want you votes to really count for Minuteman Park, vote for only 1 park, not 5.  If you give four other votes you are helping those parks, most of which are already ahead of us.

Vote daily.

We have a powerful tool to win this. It is called "bullet voting". Vote for Battlefield. Vote for NO other parks. If you vote for four other parks, those are four votes AGAINST Battlefield.

Vote for Battlefield only and we can win this thing.

Agreed. One "Bullet Vote" each and every day until July 5. You can keep the webpage open in your browser and refresh it daily. The refresh allows one new vote each day. We can nail this if everyone is on board.  :---

Voting the bullet daily !
Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.

Thanks for posting.   Bullet voted today and have the browser open to do the same each day until July 5.   O0
