RULES :
1) The rule of 3's.  Once is luck, Twice is coincidence, Three times means something is there.  At least 15 shots i.e.  3 groups of 5, or 5 groups of 3.  Preferably 5 groups of 5.   More is better.  Provide a brief description of your methodology.  What distance, scope or peep,  etc...
Try to do a minimum of 50 yards for rimfire, 100 yrds for center fire if you can.

2) No pictures, vague statements or generalities of measurement.  Present the results in MOA to at least one decimal.
Calculate the AVERAGE.

3) Bench only, no prone shooting.   This is to measure the rifle and ammo only.

4) No flyers (unless you sneezed while making the shot).    The law of averages will work it out.   Anybody reading this is competent enough to get reliable results.

5) No coddling.   We want to know the GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY.    Be honest.  The purpose of this post is to discover BOTH what WORKS and what DOESN'T WORK.    Results that exceed world class precision will be subject to question.

6) Stock is better.   If your rifle is not stock,  briefly describe the modification.   If the ammo is handload, provide the recipe.  Emphasis should be off the shelf products.

7) No judgment.   These are only your results, with your rifle.  Results may vary.

8) Statements of conclusion and other comments welcome !

I have several...
10/22 subsonic Bull barrel, polyurethane buffer, volquartsen trigger group 4x Hawke scope - cci standard velocity, aguila subsonic (dislikes eley ammo)

Rather heavy to shoot at an AS - 1MOA at 25 yds bench  ( 5 rds in a 3/8 hole) 2MOA at AS
CZ455 lux  straight out of the box 1MOA cci standard and Eley club- 4-6MOA at AS ( this is a shooter issue having to do with environmental conditions i.e. wind, dust, sun, eyesight)

PTR91GI stock except for the stock with adjustable comb height and a port buffer to not send the brass to the next state over
3-4 MOA with M80 ball @ 100yds  just over 2MOA with M118SB equivalent @100 yds  just under 2MOA with M852 equivalent @100 yds
Rings steel at 1K with M80!( not from a bench)

I haven't shot from the Bench since I started reading Fred's articles in Shotgun News in the Early 2000's. But I do know that an Anschutz 54 silhouette rifle won the very first BR50 match held in Virginia in 1990.

FN SCAR 17L  cal. 308
scoped at 100 yrds, 3 groups of 5 with Caldwell led Sled II

Federal Gold Medal  168gr SM bthp    1.9 MOA @ 2411 fps
CBC ball M80                                    2.0 MOA @ 2634 fps
Federal Gold Medal  175gr SM bthp    2.4 MOA @ 2475 fps
Winchester PPU Match 175 fmjbt        2.6 MOA @ 2232 fps
Brown Bear 145gr fmj                       3.9 MOA @ 2547 fps

I find this rifle to be ergonomically excellent, light weight, low recoil.
I have seen the tendency (as stated in other forums) for the group to open up on the 4th and 5th round.
Cost: $2900.00

Springfield M21 Long Range Match Krieger Barrel
7.62 x 51 mm NATO (.308 WIN)
scoped at 100 yrds, 3 groups of 5 with Caldwell led Sled II

Federal Gold Medal  168gr SM bthp  1.8 MOA @ 2648 fps
Federal Gold Medal 175 gr SM bthp  1.9 MOA @ 2682 fps
CBC ball M80                                  2.8 MOA @ 2856 fps
Brown Bear 145gr fmj                     4.0 MOA @ 2720 fps

This is certainly a pretty rifle, but heavy.
11.6lbs empty: add a scope and ammo and 15 lbs is right around the corner.

With handloads so far the best I have been able to do is:

1.0 MOA @ 2581fps with 168gr Hornady A-Max, 41.0 grs Varget, C34 primer, OAL 2.800, Ogive 2.170
1.0 MOA @ 2349fps with 180gr Sierra Match hpbt, 37.5 grs Varget, C34 primer, OAL 2.800, Ogive 2.210

But it has NOT been easy.
I suspect it favors the 180 gr Sierra Match
I suspect measuring out the individual components might give another .1 - .3 MOA
I do like the trigger on this rifle.

Try some standard high power loads with Sierra 169s.
