There will be an as issued military rifle match this Sunday Sep 20th at Madison County Sportsmen's Club in Winterset. $5 entry fee up for grabs is bragging rights. We should start shooting about 10 AM. Sorry for the late notice snuck up on me since I am not organizing it.

Results from match I took first and second place. I entered with my AR 15 and my M1A. In the prone segment I had the NPOA and shooters cadence dialed in. I was being pelted with 30-06 casings from my neighbor and still shot a very respectable 95. Felt good while shooting and looked even better after going down range to check target. AR edged out the M1A by 3 overall points. May have convinced some other club members that Appleseed techniques work too.
