Authors Wanted
« on: August 07, 2015, 10:52:44 AM »
The Appleseed Newsletter is edited by FiremanBob and Roswell. It is published six times per year.

We are always looking for new ideas for articles, and especially for new authors to write them. We publish articles on these subjects:

Project Appleseed News
Marksmanship
History and Heritage
Citizen Engagement
Equipment Reviews
Safety

You don't have to be an Appleseed instructor or a member of the volunteer corps to write for the newsletter; it is open to all Appleseeders. If you have a story to tell about your Appleseed experience and want to share it across the Appleseed community, you can. We are looking especially for stories about how your Appleseed experience has helped improve your life. Perhaps you have applied your skills into other competitive shooting sports. Or you have been inspired to take action in the public affairs life of your community. If you would like to write an article for the newsletter or have an idea for a topic that you would like to see, just send a PM about your idea to FiremanBob or to Roswell. Or send an email to newsletter@projectappleseed.net.

All contributions will be considered. Obviously, the newsletter is edited and not all submissions will necessarily be published in their original form.

Is this still a thing? If so I would like to throw my hat into the ring.

I t regrettably has fallen to the wayside due to lack of articles and authors. Maybe down the road we will re-introduce it.
