Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots

Beautiful weather on Saturday and Sunday morning, and then the rain started.  (use more staples and be careful removing those targets from the backers).  I thought that they were tired and would want to pack it in about 3 on Sunday, but no, they wanted more AQT's.   ~~:)  One persevering individual pulled off a 205 on the last round; so close he could taste it.  O0

Around 25  shooters each day with 3 first time riflemen.  A few others hanging steady in the 180 range and a couple firting with 200.

Thanks to BrownBessEd for dressing in his reenactor's garb with his Brown Bess Muskets and sharing about the militia of 1775.

Thanks to Steck, Ratboy, undrdawg, Tornado, BrownBessEd, Yogi, and Amber Waves for helping out for one and/or both days.

Thanks to the Illinois State Rifle Association range in Bonfield for hosting us again.  We will be back a couple more times this year.  So come back, bring some friends and let's fill this line.

Feel free to post your experiences and any photos that you may have taken from this past weekend.

Great turn out this weekend! Enjoyed spending the weekend with some good folks learning to shoot better, learning about our heritage, and some new Riflemen! Thanks for all your hard work and persistence. I really enjoyed getting to know you all better and learning from each of you.

Also, enjoyed hearing the history on the 240th anniversary of April 19th 1775.

Pictures of Riflemen attached. We are especially proud of our son, Josh for carrying on the family tradition... :cool2:
