Florida IBC Just in time for Patriots Day
« on: February 04, 2015, 04:02:43 PM »
For the first time in way too long we have an Instructor Boot Camp on the schedule. The place is at the property of our very own Alkeford (Archie Bowen) and the date is April 11-12. Archie's place is located at 7026 Fernandina Ave. Dunnellon, FL 34433. Each day will begin at 8 a.m. sharp.

For those who have never been to an IBC this a fantastic way to learn how to do it right, hang out with some of the finest people on the planet, and have a great time. If it has been over a year since you attended an IBC, you might want to attend as a refresher and to hone your instructing skills.

For those who are not familiar with the IBC, this is for developing instructor skills and is not typically a shooting event. For new instructors it will quickly get you up to speed and improve your effectiveness as an instructor; for old salts, it will refresh your knowledge and bring you up to date with the latest developments in our program of instruction. To make this available to everyone, the cost is nothing. That's right, you heard right, it is free!

This year we have a goal of bringing out 14,000 to our April 18-19 nationwide events. After all, the colonists were able to bring out that number in less than 24 hours--with the added possibility of getting injured or killed by the King's army or hung as a traitor. You owe it to those long dead patriots to share the traditions and heritage with today's Americans; learn how to be sharp and effective by coming to this IBC. The registration link is ready now so make the decision and sign up today.

ps: There is an important movement in the Florida State legislature to protect our Second Amendment rights in this state and action is needed right now. The bill is currently in a template form in the legislative drafting services. For more information and a link to contact your representative:
